E.M. Cummings began writing in 2022, emerging from a lifetime of avid reading with bold inspiration sparked by the trailblazing erotic authors who came before her. Specializing in erotic thrillers, weird science fiction, and low fantasy, E.M. crafts stories that push boundaries and captivate the imagination.

As for what inspires her to write, first and foremost, it’s that she is a reader. When telling stories, E.M. strives to create the kind of narratives she, as a reader, would enjoy—breaking tropes, developing well-rounded characters, and weaving compelling plot points that carry the reader through each novel. Writing about topics or emotions she has experienced also provides a therapeutic outlet, adding authenticity and depth to her work.

When not writing, E.M. runs an eclectic book club that delves into literature ranging from the timeless Hamlet to the modern Paris: The Memoir. This passion for diverse reading informs and enriches her writing style. Influenced by the provocative works of Blanka Lipinska’s 365 Days series, Anne Rice’s The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty (written under the pseudonym A.N. Roquelaure), and the seminal Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, E.M. strives to create stories that enthrall and inspire readers.

Currently, E.M. is working on a unique creative project: developing soundtracks for each short story and book she publishes. These soundtracks, available under the name "Sinful Spins," can be streamed on SoundCloud or purchased on Bandcamp.
